Michelin star for the Abantal

Abantal Seville joins Michelin Spain and Portugal to get a star in the 2009 edition, also maintained with two stars of the Hacienda La Alquería Benazuza in Sanlucar la Mayor. Hispalense the establishment, located on the street Mayor Jose de la Bandera, has a creative and Andalusian cuisine of the season, and now in autumn, when the menu is notable for mushrooms and wild game meat. In addition, its chef, Julio Fernandez Quintero, won the prize in 2005 for Best Chef Andaluz, demonstrating the perfect harmony between cuisine and the basis of the traditional Andalusian. In total, the 2009 Michelin Guide includes over 5,300 establishments, of which 2418 are hotels and restaurants in 1762 Spain, apart from 122 tapas bars and 247 rural tourism.
